Very satisfying to play, piercing shot is really op though and picking exp feels a little off.. ? I expect to collide with stuff from my character's legs more than it's entire body but nonetheless very nice game !
Really good one! Going with this genre, the addictive quality is of course already almost a given. For me, presonally, the game was maybe a tad too easy, especially the piercing shot almost trivialises it a bit. And the music played in a really crunchy way with some popping - but that one is probably a problem on my end, I've had that happen with a few games here.
Those are really nitpicks, though. The art especially is great! Just a really well-done game.

Thanks for feedback. The XP orb pick up funkiness is going to be addressed after the jam. Along with balancing the piercing shot.

Thanks for the feedback, we will be making some balance changes when the jam is over. Especially to the piercing shot.
I like it, I think maybe too much enemies appear on screen. But other than that I like it the power ups and the music is nice.
